Privacy Policy

RA Study Room is operated by Chris Young. This policy describes information handled when you browse the site, sign in, study, purchase access, or contact us.

Information We Collect

Account information: your account identifier and email address supplied by ChatGPT sign-in. RA Study Room does not receive your ChatGPT password or chat history through this sign-in integration.
Study progress: reviewed lessons, saved items, question answers, case responses and notes, exam and game progress, and listening position when saved as part of your progress.
Membership and transactions: Stripe customer and checkout identifiers, access dates, complimentary-access records, payment and refund amounts, payment status, and related billing records. Card details are entered through Stripe, rather than stored in the study application's database.
Usage: aggregate page-load counts and, for signed-in members, account identifier, email, days active, sections visited, visit counts, and first and most recent activity times. These reports are available to the site administrator, not other members. The site's usage tables do not record IP addresses; hosting and payment providers may process technical connection information independently.
Communications: information you include in emails or problem reports.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide access, synchronize progress, process and reconcile payments, administer complimentary access, respond to questions, investigate problems, protect the service, and understand which study tools are used. Learning progress is not a prediction or certification of clinical competence or examination performance.

Service Providers and Disclosure

ChatGPT/OpenAI provides sign-in and Sites hosting; the hosting service uses infrastructure including Cloudflare storage and databases. Stripe processes checkout and billing. Email providers handle support communications. These providers process information needed for their services under their own terms and privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.

The application does not include third-party advertising trackers. This statement does not describe every independent processing activity of its hosting, sign-in, or payment providers. Read OpenAI's Privacy Policy, Stripe's Privacy Policy, and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for their practices.

Browser Storage

The Study Room uses browser storage to retain preferences and a local copy of progress and to support synchronization. Sign-in and payment providers may use cookies or similar storage for authentication, security, and checkout. Clearing browser data can remove local preferences or progress that has not yet synchronized. Sign out when using a shared device.

Retention

Canceling or allowing membership to expire does not automatically delete your account records or progress. The current application has no automatic expiration for stored progress, identifiable activity history, access-administration records, or transaction reporting records. These records remain stored unless removed following a request or an administrative retention review. Some financial, security, and legal records may need to be retained after a deletion request. Providers may retain their own records under their policies.

Your Requests and Choices

You can download saved progress from My Account when a saved record is available. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email contact@RAStudyRoom.com from your sign-in email and identify the request. We may verify your identity before acting. We will explain any records we must retain and handle applicable privacy rights as required by law. Deleting study data is separate from canceling a recurring subscription; use the billing controls or contact us for cancellation as well. You must contact OpenAI separately to manage your ChatGPT account.

Security and Appropriate Use

The site uses HTTPS and account-based access controls. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not enter patient identifiers, protected patient information, real clinical records, payment-card details, or passwords into study notes, case responses, or support messages. This service is intended for adult learners and professionals, not children under 13.
